We believe in one eternally existent and infinite God.
He is Triune, being revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Genesis 1, Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:6-27; Ephesians 2:13-18
We believe in Jesus Christ;
He is eternally one with the Father; He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He died for our sins and He truly arose from the dead. He took again His body and ascended into heaven and is there engaged in intercession for us. – John 1:1-18, Acts 2:22-36, Romans 8:3,32-34
We believe in the Holy Spirit;
He is present and active in and with the Church of Christ, convincing the world of sin, regenerating those who repent and believe, sanctifying believers, and guiding into all truth as it is in Jesus.- John 14:15-18, 26, Acts 2:33,15:8-9, Romans 8:1-27
We believe the Holy Scriptures were given by divine inspiration,
inerrantly revealing the will of God concerning us in all things necessary to our salvation – Luke 24:44-47, John 10:35, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in original sin and personal sin.
Original sin came through the disobedience of our first parents; personal sin is the voluntary violation of a known law of God by a morally responsible person. – Genesis 3, Romans 1:18-25, John 16:8-9, Romans 3:23
We believe that Jesus Christ, by His death on the Cross, made a full atonement for our sin.
This Atonement is the only ground of salvation. – Mark 10:45, John 1:29, Romans 3:21-26
We believe that the human race was made morally responsible and due to the fall of Adam that humanity can not turn to God by their own natural strength and works.
But we believe that the grace of God is given to all people, enabling all who will to turn from sin to righteousness. We believe that all persons may fall from grace and unless they repent of their sins, be hopelessly and eternally lost. – Genesis 2:16-17, Romans 2:1-16 Ephesians 2:8-10, James 2:18-22
We believe that justification is the gracious and judicial act of God by which He grants full pardon of all guilt and penalty of sins committed to all who believe on Jesus and receive Him as Lord and Savior.
Upon coming to faith in Jesus Christ, a person is justified before God, given a new birth, and adopted as a child of God. – John 3:3-8, I John 1:9, I John 3:1-2
We believe that sanctification is the work of God which transforms the believer into the likeness of Christ.
– Matthew 3:11-12, I Thessalonians 5:23-24, Romans 12:1-15:3
We believe in the Church as the community that confesses Jesus Christ as Lord.
The Church’s mission in the world is to share in the redemptive ministry of Christ in the power of the Spirit. – Matthew 16:13-19, 28:19-20, Acts 2:32-47
We believe in the sacraments of Christian baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Baptism signifies acceptance of the benefits of atonement of Jesus Christ and is a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Lord’s Supper is a New Testament sacrament declaring the sacrificial death of Jesus. – Matthew 3:1-7, 28:16-20, Romans 6:3-4, Mark 14:22-25, I Corinthians 10:14-21
We believe in divine healing.
We also believe God heals through the means of medical science – James 5:13-16
We believe that Jesus will come again.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the future judgment of all people,and that everlasting life is given to all who savingly believe in and follow Jesus and that the impenitent shall suffer eternally in hell. – Matthew 25:31-46, I Corinthians 15:12-58, Revelation 20:11-15, 22:1-15
